In October '07, collaborating with the Hawaii International Film Festival, Co Creative offered Hawaii's first RED One Camera Workshops to the Filmmaking community. We continued the tradition of giving back with the donation of our RED One #138 to create the 2008 HIFF trailer, starring Jason Scott Lee and Kelly Hu. In collaboration with Shooter's Film Production, and directed by long time friend Gerard Elmore, here are a few behind the scenes photos from an epic shoot. Enjoy.

Recently Co Creative was asked to develop a unique concept of delivery for the newly renovated Royal Hawaiian Center (formally the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center). The result is three films presented daily in the Kaulani Heritage Center. Directed and shot by Vince Keala Lucero, and edited by Lindsay Kent and Carrie Keller, the three short films talk about the foundation of the Kamehameha Schools, the current state of the Hawaiian People, and the sacred area of Waikiki known as Helumoa. Other collaborators include writers Brett Wagner, Alani Apio, and Lynn Cook, post supervisor Scott Lee Mason, and producers Jo Pedro and Angie Laprette. Utilizing the ultra high definition, 4K resolution of the RED Camera, the three films play in an immersive, specially designed, 4 screen HD surround sound theater, synced to colored lighting effects. A highly technical and complex multimedia experience designed by Co Creative, the films play to hundreds of visitors each day.
